Who makes the kaswah p1000 tablet/phone

Hi all.
do any of you know who makes the kaswah p1000 7 inch tablet/phone?

My son gave me one of these,but it has a broken screen.
I have searched everywhere but any searches keep coming up with Samsung,which my son tells me is not right,although he has said he does not know who makes this.

I would really like to get this running,its a new gadget to me & I love gadgets.

They are a Chinese company AFAIK.
The Samsung P1000 is a different beast (A Galaxy Tab) and is the one you keep getting in searches.
May take some digging to get a replacement screen for the specific tablet. No doubt they use a mass produced generic one, but which one....?

Thanks RumRat, its been bugging me for ages, I just need to find a screen,or a compatible screen now. must admit, I love gadgets & am looking forward to messing with this one
