Sony or Kindle
I've has a Sony ereader for a few years. I like the fact that I can buy a cd with books on it and put them onto the Sony via Calibre. Does the Kindle or Kobo allow you to do this Advice appreciated.

Hotmail account.
Hi all. I am logged in all the time to my Hotmail accout on my laptop so no problem there. I have bought a tablet and don't seem to be able to get into it I;m trying what I think is my password but nothing. It just wont let me in. Typing 'what's in the box' wont do it either. Is there anyway I can get my password back

How do I change link ?
I like to enter a few competitions whilst watching TV and have just bought a new laptop and I have a Yahoo account. On my old computer, when I clicked on a e-mail address of where to send my entry it went straight to my Yahoo account. My new one takes me to set up Outlook. How can I change the link ?

windows update .... "checking for updates" ....
but just does that ?? !! on the windows update page .. clicked check for updates ... it has the moving bar and says " checking for updates" .. but just keeps doing that ? Underneath says " most recent checks " .... "never" .. which isn't true . baffled any ideas ? thanks

Hi, I have an IPod shuffle which was synced on my PC, and now I've got an IPhone also synced to the PC. When I try and make any changes to the IPod I get a warning saying the IPod is Synced with another library and do I want to erase it? BT Yahoo email online -Advanced Search gone
Does anyone know where Advanced Search has gone on BT Yahoo online email in their recently redesigned website ? Before when you did initial search, the Advanced Search button would appear in the search results. Can't seem to find where it's gone. Thanks

Legal DVD ripping software-just for personal use!
Hi, Is it possible to get legal software to rip dvds I already own so they can be stored on an external hard drive and stop taking up so much physical room? Ebook dilemma
When it comes to ebooks, I'm a complete novice. I downloaded Kindle for my tablet, and some free books from Amazon. To my disappointment, I couldn't read them without being online. I downloaded Calibre to convert them, but they are protected. Does this mean I have to be online to read anything I download from Amazon?
