I've been offered a BT Vision box for sale. My question is willl it work without connecting it to a phone line? My idea is to use it as a "standalone PVR" and not use the download options at all. Am i correct??

Hi, I am looking to buy a camcorder from the US during a visit. Will i beable to use it in the UK without issue. Hi all, am i right in thinking that if i`ve got wi-fi on my laptop, i can log onto the net off other peoples internet provider if they have it unlocked? Most importantly, do they know!?
