Hi experts - we have Windows XP and a Ship Simulator game by Lighthouse Interactive. It loaded ok but the game 'hangs' as though loading a destination for our ship and locks the computer so we have to reboot. Game requires 1GB ram/hard drive space - our computer has 510 mb ram memory - not enough? can we buy memory and plug it in or is it a bit more technical?

go to www.crucial.com/uk and run the online memory tool to ensure you get matching memory.
Yes, it is pretty much a case of 'buy it, bung it in'
If you want a more knowledgable response for that particular game, try www.shipsimonline.co.uk - a forum for the game run by my friend's son!IT Field Service Engineer, 20 years with screwdriver and hammer

Additionally try lighthouses own website which has minimum requirements etc. Is your graphics card up to it ?
