could anyone please explain to a dumb rookie how to clear the cache or watever it is called
I am useing internet explorer

    Goto tools, delete browsing history, delete all.

    Download CCleaner, one of the best free programs out there! Crap cleaner, cleans out all the crap from your pc, temp files, cookies, history etc etc. Its free and a great tool for any PC. Files that take up space and which are junk files are deleted, this can sometimes clear megabytes or even at times gigabytes worth of stuff on your computer which is junk and you may not have realised its there if you haven't cleaned your pc.

    Nothing there saying delete browsing history i have mail and news, pop-up blocker, manage add ons, synchronize, windows update, windows messenger, sun java console, reset web settings, Internet options.

    what version of internet explorer are you running?

    Goto tools, internet options, temporary internet files. Hit delete
