Can a 8x AGP card be used in a 4x support board
My board only supports 1, 2, and 4x for AGP card. My graphic card does not have DVI, and I want to buy a new card with DVI. Would it be possible to use a 8x graphic card with a motherboard only supporting 4x speed? And where can I find a cheap graphic card with DVI? Thanks

usb trouble
a while back i had trouble with the usb slots on the front of my case. Basicly they fried things, but that isn't important. Can't see the CD-Rom
Have a 5 year old Toshiba Satellite Pro used for light browsing and spreadsheet work. Went to upgrade to Norton 2007 and machine will not recognise the CD-Rom. Disc actually spins but drive not shown in My Computer. Any ideas?
