  • Dependant on your kind of machine It may only be DVD + or DVD - compatible

The difference between R & RW disks is that the R disks can be writen to only once and cannot be edited. RW diske are rewritable and can therefore be edited or items removed and burned over.

If you are putting camcorder stuff onto a DVD with a view to editing then obviously buy some RW disks.

    RW are more expensive however

Loads of places sell disks, you shouldnt be looking for the cheapest you should bee looking for high quality disks. Cheap disks will fail and loose the contents quicker than quality disks.
I buy my disks from thes guys http://www.shopneo.co.uk but their choice of +rw disks is limited I have used ridisc -r and rw in the past and they have been great infact my current stock is ridisc. I have used TDK CDR in the past they were ok but the top surface started to fail so they became un readable after a year or so. and they were kept in jewel cases.
  • Sainsburys at the moment are doing Varbatim CD+R for £6.99 for a cake pack of 25. They also have the same brand in +RW but didnt cathch the price sorry

    Here :

    http://svp.co.uk/

the service is nothing short of stunning - I usually buy 75 discs at once to get best value from P&P charges.

been using them for a good few years now

I use svp same as judderman, in my opinion (and many others) you can't go wrong with Verbatim. 30p a disc is cheap and the quality is superb. svp also use a rating system where you can see what other users have to say about the products.

Aye I use Verbatim too, in fact these are the ones I use:

so if they do a similar one in +RW (I use +r as you'll see) I would strongly recommend them
