Morning All
I have just lent my dad my Dell laptop and am now left using my girlfriend's Mac.
I am not a complete Mac 'virgin' so to speak, but would like to know if you guys have any tips re software to download to help me do the basics that I am used to re office.
In particular, is there an equivalent to Microsoft Office that I can download/buy?
Regards
RS

try openoffice http://www.openoffice.org/ for an office suite or you can buy office for macs, but it's not worth it.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0

Yes, provided they're not too complex (graphs etc).
There is a version of Office for the Mac, but it's not as identical as Microsoft would have you believe. However you can have a free trial so maybe if you're just using the Mac for a short while then it's worth a go.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

you could also try neo office which is based on open office but adds in some Mac specific features. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
