Excell converted my £'s to $'s - help!

not sure why its done this but can anyone tell me how to put my money figures back into pound sterling??

Highlight the boxes and just clicking the currency button doesnt seem to work.

    This might be a problem with Windows XP. Try going to Control Panel and then Regional and Language settings. This should then be showing that it is English (UK), rather than English (US). This should change the currency.
