usb trouble

A:I Posts: 500 Forumite
a while back i had trouble with the usb slots on the front of my case. Basicly they fried things, but that isn't important.
I finally got around to taking apart the case and geting the usb card out of the front.
It's a small card with two ports on, with a 8 pins which you conect to a lead which goes directly to the mother board. Are this easy to get hold of?
can you give me a link to where i can get one?

I doubt that board would be responsible for frying anything

More likely contact the Motherboard supplier, but it should be a fairly common component anyway.
