cut n paste

Hi all .

For some reason i cant use the cut and paste function on my laptop,i noticed after a clean install not long ago.

Is it a browser related problem?i use firefox.

Any help much appreciated ta:D

START , RUN, Type Services.msc. Look for clipboard and make sure its automatic, and enabled, and started.

ok thanks,found clipbbook and that is disabled,should i enable that ?

thanks ,couldnt find clipboard,ive enabled clipbook..but made no difference:o

What cant you cut and paste in, word, excel internet explorer or what? or cant you cut and paste anything at all?

Try this anyway, pop in your XP cd if you have one then do this simply go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in:

sfc /scannow and then hit enter.

Thanks ill give that a go,cant paste links on this site at moment.

Does the problem only occur in Firefox, or other applications too (e.g. Internet Explorer, Notepad)?

Can you copy and paste in FF?

Can you copy from other applications and paste into FF?

hi sorry didnt reply earlier.

i can paste from FF to explorer and note pad,but not from FF to this site.
