DVDs and PAL/NTSC
Are all DVDs made either PAL or NTSC like videos are or is it just region coding that makes videos incompatible between N America and Europe? Presumably region coding is only applied to some commercial DVDs in order to control distribution? i.e. non-commercial DVDs might be compatible anywhere?

Thunderbird and managing Address Book
My personal address book is becoming unwieldly. Is there a way to create more address books or subsidiary address books within in it for say family and church? I want to be able to send messages to individuals within any subsidiary book rahter than to the whole group.

frustrated with rss feeds pls help
I love this website, but it's seduced me into doing all sorts with my pc without the required technical expertise...! despite hours and days of trying I still have no idea how of how to add feeds to the toolbar. I've done a search on the advice already here but still clueless.

Philips Dect Phone problem

Hi Need a new printer for the inlaws. cheap and easy but LCD screen would be great, AIO a benefit and high street stores preferred as they want to see it etc, but can get online if they have seen it. Any bargains about ? tyia ;)

how to connect external FM aerial portable radio?
Anybody know how to connect an external FM aerial to a small bedside FM radio which only has a wire aerial? and no external aerial connection. FM radio reception is poor in my area so need an external aerial. I need a circuit to match the wire aerials input to a co-axial cable one.

Doom 3 on XP Pro 64bit
Every time I try to install Doom 3 on this OS, I get a message saying I must use W2000 or XP. I've had a check around the net, and it appears there may be a modified MSI file I can use to get around this.
