Hello Our main computer is approx 4 years old and is only 254mb memory. It runs XP windows but I would like to upgrade the memory. I have read there are different types of memory. How would I find out from my computer which is the right type to get? And how much extra memory could I put in my computer? Many thanks

Problem
When i go on the net its fine for about 45mins then everything slows down i close my browser and run cc cleaner startup browser again and its alot faster again! I have tried lowering amount od temperory internet files but makes know diffrence any ideas why this keeps happening
