Video Rotation

I've just come back from holiday - I used my new Canon A610 Digital camera to take a few minutes of Video, as well as loads of still photos. However, for some of the video clips I turned the camera thru' 90 degrees to get a better view.
Whilst rotating still photos is no problem, I've realised that there is no option for doing the same with video clips. Is there an easy way to do it please? I don't wan't to stand the telly on one end to watch the clips, or lay on the sofa.....
Thanks.

HI - I've used VIRTUALDUB before . You can download it for free here
THere's a lot of other things it can do but from memory I think you choose
video / filters ...add / rotate and then save it as a new file. It's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission

Thanks for the reply.
I've downloaded virtualdub and have been able to rotate the video successfully, However, the video then becomes very distorted. Any ideas please? Thanks.

Polybear - I've had a go with my version and it may be to do with the compression settings when you re save it? You could try fiddling about with them?
Maybe someone else will have another idea or even suggest some other free software - sorry I can't be of more help
