Replace battery in Tomtom Go - any DIY or mail order options?

There must be loads of people with a Tom Tom Go where the battery will soon reach the end of the 2 year rated life.
I have been searching the Expansys forum for either a DIY recipe for doing this (as I am a litle bit handy with a soldering iron) or a mail order service in the UK. Tomtom themselves charge around 200 Euros.
Apparently a good techie could locate the correct spec of replacement li-ion battery which itself should cost under £15.
Any suggestions?

OK I have found the moneysaving answer: It would cost £30 (which includes return postage) + VAT plus insured outbound postage to http://www.satnav-shop.com, to have the battery replaced on my Tomtom Go.
Sergei who runs this service seems to dish out good advice and showed me how to check that my charging circuit is not burnt out. as this is a more expensive repair at £55 + VAT.
Then I had a Moneysaving think about this: When do I really need the battery? Answer, when I need to charge the phone at the same time as driving somewhere unusual.
Moneysaving solution:  Bought a 12v Socket Splitter from Ebay for £4, allows both items to be used at the same time. :T

Hi
For £11 batteries are available for this model from http://www.smallbattery.company.org.uk/sbc_LIR18650-FT.htm
Li-ion type 3.6V 18650 size.
Hope this helps!
