Hi

I dont know if anyone can help. I am having problems getting pictures off my digital camera. When I plug the USB cable into the camera, The below happens



When I click on it , I get this



Then when I double click on the bolded text , it says this




Ive tried the troubleshooting, and its getting me nowhere. Ive never had any problems with it. Norm I just plug the thing in , and go to ' My Computer '. And the Drive is in there, ready for me to get access to my photos.
But its not there. So cant get my pictures :sad: Its driving my mad.
Its not recognising my mobile phone on there either. Ive done a system restore and thats done nothing either

use system restore to go back a day or so

if it's for the camera try disabling the driver or removing the driver then reboot it should find the device and install the driver again

or how about the pci card thats happened to me b4 might have come loose

Thanks very much. Ive treid a system restore. and sadly that didnt do anything. Ill have a go at the other things suggested next. Thanks again for replying

try pluging the usb cable directly into the pc rather than using a usb hub.

I agree with theCapt, on many occasion a device is not detected if connected via a hub.
Connect the cable directly to the PC and once detected and installed successfully, you will find that you can also connect via a hub as well.
