Installed first DVD writer but blanks read as CDs
I've just purchased and installed a new LG DVD writer but have not managed to record any usable data to it yet. When I first installed the drive I used the supplied software CD and it…

PC Freezes when trying to watch a dvd.
I have tried the Windows Media player to watch a dvd and it tells me it doesn't have the correct files to view the dvd. I then installed PowerDVD which froze as soon as it opened. I uninstalled it and then tried WinDVD which also froze. Obviously a problem with my pc rather than the programs. Can anyone help please?
