Funny little squeak
I occasionally hear a 'downward' squeak after I have logged on. OS Windows XP SP2 with Sygate and Avast!. Have disabled the sound notificaton on Sygate but still get it. CCleaner
Have just downloaded and used this utility and found it cleared ALL my cookies so that I had to re-log onto the MSE website. This means I will have to re-log onto ALL my regular websites including my online account. Does anyone know of a means of saving the cookies you do want to keep (safely)?

Just put on my pc & this message came up: checking file system , file system NTFS, one of he discs needs to be checked for consistency. so I left it for ages & nothing happened, so I re-started the pc & the same thing came up again but this time I cancelled it.
