Hi
i was wondering if someone could please advise me on a laser printer.
I need it to have a fax and photocopier not too bothered about a scanner.
ive never bought a laser printer before so dont really know the running costs,
did a littl;e google and some have really expensive toners which make/model would you recommend for a laser printer that hasa good life span and reasonable prices on toners.
thanks look for to your replies

One thing to note about lasers is that the toners last for ages, so they are much cheaper to run than inkjets.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Unfortuantly you wont find one that doesnt have a scanner function. to use it as a fax it need to be able to read a page and the only way to do that is a scanner.
I havnt used one but I did have a customer that was looking for a colour all in 1 printer/coppier/scanner and he bought the HP Laserjet 2820 and he was really happy with it. HP make a version that has fax function too it is the HP laserjet 2840
Toner carts are alot more expensive when you compair them to refilled carts and even full price originals but you do get alot more out of them and they last for ages and they are quick. page costs are about 8p per page in colour and about 2p in black on my hp colour laserjet 2550 when you take in to acount that you replace the drum every 20000 pages. and the tonners about 5000 pages I think.0 -
thanks i will look into thisGod made man, man made money, money made man mad0
