Belkin Wireless Card
I'm experimenting with linux on my Mother-in-laws computer, risky but I don't want to screw mine up first, however I can't seem to get hold of a driver for the Belkin 11g wireless card. Any idea where I may get one? The disk only shows M.S drivers. Peter

Virgin connection keeps breaking
My connection keeps breaking, usually when the phone goes. My PC is located approx 15 feet from the incoming phone box, and the phone itself is by the computer. I have an ordinary phone extension running from the box to the PC area, then a splitter. The filter is then in to the pc side, and the other side to the phone. If…

However we are having BIG problems getting this linkup sorted (won't even start to go into…

Help please -Laptop motherboard needed
It seems my Hp Pavilion N5470 laptop video card has died. I've been advised by repairers that it's best/easiest to install a new motherboard. Hp don't have any in stock and one repairer has quoted me £400 ( which probably exceeds the computer value) and another says it's impossible to get the motherboard. Does anybody know…

MS Word Date feature
Hello, When using the auto date feature with MS Word (Inset>Date,Time) on letters how do I ensure that when I reopen the letter weeks, months later the date remains the same as when I entered it? This is proving confusing when checking on what day a letter was sent or printing off a copy a while later.

Excel question
I am working on a large Excel spreadsheet. About half of the cells have green shading in the top left corner which I believe means that the numbers in the cell are stored as text (as opposed to numbers). I need to use the numbers in these cells in formulas but cannot presently do this because they are stored as text. I…

MP3 Players
I am looking to buy 2 MP3 players for my son and daughter for Christmas. I would think about 256 memory would be enough if that held about 60 songs. I would not want to pay anymore than 30 to 40 quid each for them as some of the sites charge extra when delivering to Northern Ireland. Any recommendations welcome. samsyerman
