does the radio still work??? If it does, there's a device you can buy for your ipod that broadcasts your music and the car radio can pick it up - it works on low levelfm frequencies (as far as i remember)0

One of these type of things is useful then one of these
Depending how much time you spend it the car you might want a power charge. Have a look on the second link for specialist and generic car kits.
The other thing is a "itrip" which uses radio waves. So it transmits on your radio. These are technically illegal in the uk under the Wireless Telegraphy Act. So if you buy one you have to promise to be good and never use it in the uk. itrip
The other alternative is one that feeds through the tape player (aweful way of doing it!)0 -
itrip... that's the name - That was the thing i was trying to describe!! cheers Number 6!0

It all depends on just 'how' much you're going to listen to it.
Itrip is v. poor quality. The tape adapters are fairly poor quality and is horribly untidy. Both of these require a separate power adapter running from cigarette lighter to Ipod. Untidy and not very practical.
If you're willing to pay for it, you can have a proper Ipod port/docking cradle installed into your car.DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society

Thanks for the replies.I did come across the itrip whilst searching the net,but am not happy with using something that`s probably illegal.I don`t use the car that much (got a motorbike) unless the kids are with me and then I`m not allowed to listen to "old fogey music" anyway.0
