Where to Start?
All the advice points to claiming PPI yourself. But I feel like I am in a different place to most and it feels like a mountain to claim to have a clue where to start. I am not even sure I have a claim, as I do not ever remember asking for Payment protection, but over the past15 years I have had all sorts of products and…

AbbeyLoan Reclaim Mandatory PPI?
Hi there. In 1998 I took out an AbbeyLoan for £5000 over 4-years. During the application process which happened via a free telephone in the branch foyer, I was simply told that the loan was contingent on my accepting Abbey's own PPI product. The person I spoke to wouldn't answer questions about eligibility, etc, all they…

Old old accounts
I have looked through the forum and this comes up quite a lot with new claims, so I apologise for going over old ground but I hope someone can clear up my question: Would it be possible that a mortgage company charged me it without ever telling me? Closed bank account
Before my divorce in 2009, my (e) wife bought nearly everything on 'HP'. just before finalizing my divorce, I closed down my bank account. Although it was in joint names my 'ex' never contributed to the account. My question is (after all that) is, Can I still inquire about PPI on that 'closed account'?

Potential PPI More Than 6 Years Old
After getting numerous phonecalls and ignoring them I thought it was time to see if I am owed any compensation for mis-sold PPI. My problem is that Equifax only goes back 6 years and I know I haven't had any in that time. Before that I had at least 5 credit cards and loans and I can't remember the details and didn't keep…
