Closed bank account

Before my divorce in 2009, my (e) wife bought nearly everything on 'HP'. just before finalizing my divorce, I closed down my bank account. Although it was in joint names my 'ex' never contributed to the account. My question is (after all that) is, Can I still inquire about PPI on that 'closed account'?

With joint accounts, a joint complaint would need to be made and if the complaint is successful, then each gets half the redress.

Most bank accounts do not have PPI. However, you are free to ask the bank.
