Where to Start?

All the advice points to claiming PPI yourself. But I feel like I am in a different place to most and it feels like a mountain to claim to have a clue where to start.
I am not even sure I have a claim, as I do not ever remember asking for Payment protection, but over the past15 years I have had all sorts of products and cards, couldn't even tell you. Back then, money & finance way a means to an end and not my priority. Now I have settled down with a family, its much more important but I don't know where to start in backtracking to find out all my details. I have very little information.
Having been serving in the RAF for the past 20 years, I have moved frequently so applications are a nightmare. I have had several mortgages, remotgages and at least 7 credit cards. The only constant I'm y life has been by Bank account.
In order to find out what I had, where I paid for PPI, it will be a monstrous task, Is there a good company that can find this out and hit up all the companies to find out. Sounds like a good value to pay company for all that work, as I haven't the time to find out details for up to 15 different companies?

Where on earth does someone like me start? I just want a reputable company that I can ring up, give a few details too and they do the work.

Correct. As many people do not realise just how little a CMC does for you.

Whatever method you use, you are putting in a complaint about something was sold to you. So, if you are going to complain, then you need to decide if you have a reason to complain.

Your data is not in the public domain and no third party can find out that information.

You contact each company and ask them if you had PPI on your debts.

    Doesn't exist.
