topping up the price to get a round £ back
Sales price £5:20. I hand them £10 plus 20p in change. looking for for a nice £5 :j If I can try and explain; a couple of time when I've been charged just over a £10 note, I add the difference in change to help the assistant give me back a plain £5. A few times they count of the original change and also had back the change…

Sainsburys 'double' Nectar points offer!
Our Nectar points come from our Sainsburys purchases only so when my OH redeemed points for a voucher doubling up the value, she thought that was a really good deal. However, since Sainsburys halved points earlier in the year, this is hardly a great deal is it!

Picanova offer
Just a quick warning. I sent off a picture to the Picanova offer and entered the discount code, expecting to receive two prints of the picture I sent. Only one arrived and when I asked why they said it was because I had only sent one picture. There was no warning that I had to send two pictures so be careful you don't get…

Why do I feel PETTY when shops overcharge me?
So today I was overcharged by 90p in total, across three items. I never used to complain for the odd 10/20p, but in these times I've been a lot more on the ball with my receipts. However in requesting the money back I just feel realllllly petty and an inconvenience, when I know I shouldn't, as it's the principal right? But…

Bet365 viewing football a bit of a con!
I have used streaming sites in the past and they were not very good. I was advised to use bet365, so I gave it a go, it took time to register and make a deposit. When I had completed the formalities I looked at the games they were streaming. They were of teams I had never heard of so I started live chat and got the…

Boots Advent calendars destroyed by RM duo to nail varnish
Girlfriend posted two Boots Advent calendars to friends abroad in mainland Europe as Christmas presents without realising nail varnish is prohibited. That's £100 wasted as RM have just told her the two parcels have been destroyed due to them containing nail varnish.

Tesco delivery driver causes dameage and Tesco refuse to help
Well I am now officially an ex Tesco customer. At the weekend a Tesco delivery driver from their Askham Bar branch in York collided with my Car in York and drove off even though he caused damage. Currys/PC World false advertising & unbelieavably inept customer service
Just placed an online order on the basis of a prominent messge saying "Get free next day delivery if ordered within the next 4 hours" but the confirmation displayed said it would be available from 7 days hence. I called to query this and had to make two calls to two different numbers and speak to three different people…

Apple Store getting a bit arrogant and complacent
I went into an Apple Store today to check out a couple of things and to see if there was any point in resurrecting an old iPhone. They didn't have any available slots to see a techie, and the bloke taking the bookings was brusque and matter of fact. They've got a new trackpad out, but the two demo units had run out of…

Just a warning to others there is a page at: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/video/ontv/devices?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0 Which lists compatible devices, however none of the 2012 LG Home Cinema Systems listed there are supported or work with Amazon Prime\Video anymore. I have a pre-paid voucher with Boomstreet but their website states they have ceased trading. I will contact my credit card company but any other ideas? Please could this post remain on Grabbit, as the Boomsteet/Ncrowd offers were similar to Groupon etc. and could have been on the Grabbit forum. Also as a reminder that…

Praise (Clas Ohlson)
Unusual for me to praise a company, but here I am. I made a first order from Clas Ohlson on Thursday night last week, they had an offer on for free delivery. Order arrived on Tuesday in a right state, the box was split open, bashed and taped in parts. I presume it was not sent out in that state. (Parcel Force) I took…
