Birmingam council missed bin collections

We've had wheelie bins for rubbish and recycling for six months. There have been numerous missed collections. In theory this can be reported online. In practice this is not possible.

You are unable to report a missed collection for any of your services at the current time because of the reasons listed above
I've contacted the council repeatedly about this asking them to update their records. Nothing has changed. .
I've also tried to check my collection dates and get this,
Collection Schedules
Collection type Collection day Collection date Clinical Waste Friday 27 November 2015
We don't have or need a clinical waste collection. We do (sometimes!) have a waste and recycling collection.
I've given up trying to contact them by phone after being regularly left waiting for 15 minutes. Emails never get a reply. Complaints blame a technical fault which is left unresolved.
Does anyone else in birmingham get the same results when trying to report missed collections?.

Only the garden waste states that for me, I guess because the season is over.
I did have big problems with the online account when I moved house, missed collections kept showing my old address even though I updated it several times.PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)0 -
Get on to your local Councillor and ask him/her to chase it up and/or complain to the local press.

Try the phone at a weird hour. I reported this before, I think it was even a Saturday.0

I've contacted my local councillor before about this and will try them again. My, full to the top, glass and cans wheelie bin which should have been collected but wasn't is now on its side and needs standing up and refilling. Thanks Birmingham council.0
