Currys/PC World false advertising & unbelieavably inept customer service

Just placed an online order on the basis of a prominent messge saying "Get free next day delivery if ordered within the next 4 hours" but the confirmation displayed said it would be available from 7 days hence. I called to query this and had to make two calls to two different numbers and speak to three different people before finding anyone who would even comment. Unfortunately his only comment was that someone would email me back.
Free next-day product availability is now the norm with the likes of Argos. For Currys/PC World to advertise it and not deliver it (and, apparently not even try) is simply false advertising and illegal.

did you read
http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/delivery-1021-theme.html?intcmp=home~next-day~service~tsr-2~small~peak~th~-~031115#free
Small print:
Next day and time slot delivery are not available on extended range of products for home delivery (as indicated on the product page and confirmation page). For next day delivery, an extra £6 will be charged per additional unit on the same order.0 -
I suspect that they haven't updated their confirmation page or what sheramber posted. Wait and see what they email back, if my hunch is correct they have made an error and it will be delivered next day. If they are false advertising then you are right to be peed off.0

I should have been clearer. The third chap I spoke to (the first one to comment) immediately conceded that the "next day" promises were wrong. He said everything (I assume including my case of collecting from a store) was on a 3-5 day delivery. The only remedy he could offer was to cancel the order but, when I started talking about false advertising, he said that someone would get back to me by email. I'll post the email here when I get it. I see nothing ambiguous about text on an individual item saying "Get free next day delivery if ordered within the next X hours" where X is continuously decremented.0
