Bet365 viewing football a bit of a con!

I have used streaming sites in the past and they were not very good. I was advised to use bet365, so I gave it a go, it took time to register and make a deposit.

When I had completed the formalities I looked at the games they were streaming. They were of teams I had never heard of so I started live chat and got the following response!

You can check which matches are being streamed without depositing money or even registering an account. You can withdraw your funds if you do not wish to place a bet.

It's a betting account not a football streaming service. Although some games are streamed that is not the purpose of bet365.

    Just withdraw your money.

It is not a membership either
  • You only need to leave 1p in to watch any matches they are streaming

Bet365 stream sports mainly for betting purposes. There are restrictions on it so they can't show it in full screen mode. The streaming sites that you will have used before are not legal I think. No 3pm Saturday matches are allowed to be shown in the uk due to FA/PL/FL rules.

They tend to show foreign games as the rights to show them via the web are usually a lot cheaper. The cost for them to show domestic games in this way would be huge. I use them every now and again to watch Serie B.

I believe there are a few foreign betting sites (One Swedish based one I believe) who did show Championship games. I'm not aware of anyone legally showing Premier League games though.
