Toilet Rolls/Tissues misleading information
Many supermarkets now show the cost per toilet roll. This information is misleading as the number of tissues in a roll of toilet rolls differs tremendously. It would be far more appropriate and fairer to show the cost per tissue. Andrex seems to have more individual tissues per roll than many other brands.

Praise of Tesco - winning customers back
Very pleased, we had to return two items of clothing yesterday that we had lost the receipts for. I was expecting to get half the value in exchange which is what happened last time but we were delighted to get the money back, in cash. They said it was part of "winning customers back". Pretty big of them to admit previous…

Argos eBay outlet - refusing to refund for broken phone
This is both a plea for help and a warning to anyone considering buying a refurbished phone. I am so stressed, I had naively though that buying with Argos would be a guarantee against getting shoddy equipment and service :( I bought a refurbished phone 3 months ago through the Argos eBay Outlet. It said I was to expect…

Made To Measure Service?
Like a growing number of other women I have feet larger than the standard maximum size 8. Fortunately I'm "only" a 9 but this is still too large to get into your typical designer shoes. I have always wanted a pair of shoes by Christian Louboutin who supposedly offers a "made to measure" service with a premium. So I called…

Awful BBC coverage of the British Open golf today.
Thank goodness Sky are getting the British Open golf soon. BBC in their wisdom are showing it from 1345hrs this afternoon. Nothing prior to that on BBC Iplayer, interactive services, etc. I will be complaining to BBC via email. Just awful and you can see why they are losing so much sport.

Prestige Flowers: What a waste of time!
This is part of the email which I submitted to the customer service department: 'You trust that a professional service who you provide money for in compensation for a product would live up to their word. I ordered next day delivery service for some flowers for my wife for an anniversary. On their homepage alone, next day…

Anyone used Divan Bed Centre?
Hi Looking for a new single bed and followed a link from Quidco to a company called Divan bed centre. Never heard of them before but the beds seem really good value. Just wondered if anyone had used then and what your experience was? Many thanks

Virgin Trains QuietZone What is the point?
Virgin Trains give you the option of booking a seat in their QuietZone carriages, the idea being that passengers in these zones are not allowed to use their mobile phones etc and disturb other passengers. I recently returned from London and had to contend with a large family group who were shouting, talking loudly on their…

Three PAYG 'My3' app
Topped my phone up with 3x£5 as you get 120mb data thrown in for every £5 topup, therefore better than 1x£15. On the my3 app, there is a topup button and directly below that, there is a 'buy now' button for some £15 addon, and then below that a 'view all addons' button. I wanted to top up another £5 giving me a nice round…

Argos Online Orders
I placed an order last weekend for a new mattress for my spare bed. RRP was/is more than £400, the selling price was £131.99. I went through the whole process, picked the earliest delivery date they offered me and entered my Argos card details for payment. I have to admit I didn't check that I received a confirmation email…

Customer asked for home delivery, she lived in flats and flats had courier button on for postal access as flats often do. Three attempts later according to the tracker and still hadn't been delivered. Customer went to the…

Amazon doubled my Prime trial because of Collect Plus
I signed up for 30 days Amazon Prime trial because of the Prime Day yesterday. Plus there are a couple of movies on their instant video service which I wanted to see. Placed a order for the Amazon Fire TV stick. Ordered it on the next day delivery. Asked for collection at a newsagent on the Collect Plus network. I have…

Cobra/Vodafone alarms
I bought a used car which has a Cobra alarm, and the spare fob's little rubberised strap with a loop for a keyring had broken off. After a bit of a search I found that they are now part of Vodafone, so I called them to see if I could get a replacement one for the fob. No problem they said and a padded envelope with a…

Tesco fuel save
Just used my clubcard/tesco credit card to get diesel that I had 14p per litre due to me. When checking the recept found I had not been given the discount but they had taken the 14p allowance off the July figure and just quoted the August new allowance. I had to go into the cash office to get this shorted out and they did…

I ordered an item from amazon on Monday then on tuesday I get an email saying that the estimated delivery date is Wednesday so I clicked on tracking and my parcel was showing as being delivered to somewhere in London. Insecure payments on Boots photo printing
I used this service for the first time today, and was amazed that on the payment page I was asked to enter full credit details on to an insecure page. Not very professional!
