Hermes

We sent a customer order out via Hermes a month or so ago now and have had nothing but trouble since !
Customer asked for home delivery, she lived in flats and flats had courier button on for postal access as flats often do. Three attempts later according to the tracker and still hadn't been delivered.
Customer went to the on line help and then asked for it to be left in a safe place, so again it went out with the courier and again three attempts were supposedly made, I'll point out that no delivery attempted cards were left !. The last time delivery was attempted a card was actually left but the courier left no contact number to arrange another delivery.

Back to customer online help.... we then asked for it to be left at a local drop off point as they couldn't get the parcel delivered and were flatly told no we can't do that, so the customer asked the same and got told the same as us.

I then cancelled the order and sent another order to my customer via UPS and she got it next day :) hurrah for UPS !

Back to Hermes ..... they said someone will contact me within 48 hours to rearrange getting the order returned to me. No surprise but didn't hear a thing, online tracking showing parcel had gone out for delivery again and wasn't delivered.

One week later I emailed customer services and basically said I'll see you in court as you still have my shipment and have ignored my previous correspondence, got the usual we'll be in touch within 48 hours.

72 hours later they get in touch, we've tried to trace where your shipment is but it appears we have lost it ! we're very sorry here's a 100% discount off your next order upto £10 ! lol
They have sent a claim form so that'll be sent to em recorded delivery on Monday.

All I can say is AVOID these idiots like the plague .... you thought YODEL were bad ? you ain't experienced Hermes..... next to useless customer support .... self employed couriers that are useless and you can't contact them to arrange redelivery .... they can't speak Engrish ! .... no support number / call center as it's all on line.
