Tesco fuel save

Just used my clubcard/tesco credit card to get diesel that I had 14p per litre due to me. When checking the recept found I had not been given the discount but they had taken the 14p allowance off the July figure and just quoted the August new allowance. I had to go into the cash office to get this shorted out and they did give me £5.65 for the 40 litre of fuel but how many people check receipts especially as the terminal on the pump had acknowledged my points and asked if I was paying with the card so I could have assumed all was well. Just check receipts for this scheme, many may have forfeited their money.

The pump asks you if you want to use your points , you have to press a button either yes/no maybe you were on automatic pilot that day and didn't realise what you were doing .This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
