Filthy Stinking Smoke
I sold an expensive item on eBay. I advertised it as coming from a smoke-free home even though it wasn't made of fabric. I agreed to a return because the item wasn't suitable for the buyer. It comes back stinking of disgusting, filthy smoke. Gets right on my t*ts.

this is a scam email?
sorry if it is in the wrong section btw. I had a 'fork' moment when I initially read the email, before realising it probably a big con & not a hacked a/c etc. Given that I have no i-tune account etc I've taken my email out of it, but the rest is as sent. Match.com
I'm furious with these jerks. I cancelled my subscription online. Didn't realise it was on auto renewal but found out in time for the 48 hrs notice period. I Followed all the online prompts and thought I done it, but apparently not to their satisfaction as they took my 6 month subscription anyway. They say I must have made…

Franked parcels rejected by post office
Hi all While I am still waiting for an explanation from Royal Mail, I thought perhaps I could ask the same question here to see if anyone knows an answer. I took two franked parcels to a local post office on Saturday morning. Both parcels were going to overseas, I was asked to fill in a customs form at the counter. While I…

Down with Asda Direct!
Yesterday, I ordered the purple pleated touch lamp at half price (£4) and order was confirmed. A few hours later, the order was cancelled as out of stock. OK, that's fine I thought, it must be popular..... BUT today, I noticed that the exact lamp has gone back up to £8 and stock was available as I had put one in my basket…

Avoid Amazon's online return process
If anyone needs to return a faulty item, don't use Amazon's online returns process, which in my case offered me only two options - either to return via Amazon's nominated collections service, or to send it back by any method I chose, but Amazon would only pay up to £3.30 towards the postage etc. This is clearly designed to…

Amazon packaging!
I know this has been brought up before, but I can't believe that Amazon still don't have the common sense to put items in appropriately sized packaging when sending out. I ordered a 10" tablet case and today it arrived, in a massive box surrounded by loads of brown paper. This would have been fine in a jiffy bag or a…

Recycle Centres Salvage
I was in leaving off some old items to the skip last week and was approached by someone asking if they could take the items from me. I said this was fine and tear away if it is any good to you as I would rather see an item being recycled by someone rather than go to an incinerator or tip. The lady who I gave the stuff to…

Just a warning. My Amazon seller account must have been compromised. Then some two weeks later Amazon took £748 from my credit card. Trying to resolve this has been a…
