"Broadband Repair Service" phone call

Dont know if this is the right place, or if it has been mentioned before.
Had a phone call today, claiming to be
"This is your Broadband repair service are you using your internet now Madam, have you noticed your internet is broken?"
I asked " who did you say you were calling from again?"
"AOL, Virgin Media, Sky"
So I shouted SCAM down the phone and they put the phone down!
No it wasn't a genuine call, as they did not ask for the account holder of which I'm not anyway, and didn't know which provider we are with.
I have sent this on to lots of people, including my Mother who almost fell for the Microsoft one.
Had a phone call today, claiming to be

Told my "Microsoft" caller, after about 5 mins playing dumb, that we had full double glazing and didn't need any more windows :rotfl: he put the phone down.0
