Well Done NEXT
Wife ordered some flowers and chocolates for her mum for Mother's Day from NEXT, but when they arrived the chocolates were missing. Phoned NEXT who apologised and said they'd send a complete replacement (Flowers and chocolates) for delivery the following day. So well done NEXT - we were only after replacement chocolates ;)

TPS Registered? So what!
Had two cold calls yesterday - both the usual PPI/ambulance chasing stuff. First one was informed that we were TPS registered. She apologised and said she'd remove us from her list. Well done you. Second one was a belter! Asked to speak to the wife, and I advised him we were TPS registered so he was breaking the law in…

Flowerfete
I thought I'd try and save some money this mother's day by using this company rather than interflora. Really wish I hadn't. Flowers haven't turned up despite the delivery tracking saying they'd been delivered. Can't get through to the customer service phone number. No response to emails. Eventually managed to get through…

Tesco-cards failed to dispatch never mind deliver!
We ordered mothers day cards early last week from tesco-cards. They haven't even processed the order according to my online account never mind posted or delivered. Poor poor service. No response from email complaint either, they took the money though. Not impressed, will return to moonpig I think.

City Link driver probably stole my flowers
Vent and Warning: I have to come to the conclusion that the City Link driver that was delivering mother’s day flowers to my house on Saturday stole them for himself. I wish this was not true, however I cannot think of any other reasonable alternative based on what happened. I ordered 2 sets of flowers from Waitrose online…

Parcel Farce
I ordered an item for a customer for which Parcel Force was due to collect from the North of England on the 2nd under their 48 hour delivery service. It's eventual destination was Birmingham. Here's the tracking information... 05/03/2013@15:50 - Edinburgh West Depot - Collected from customer 07/03/2013@16:20 - Belfast…

Vent: ebay - utter morons
I posted elsewhere about fraudulent use of my bank card on ebay. To summarise, an account had been set up using my details and I was charged sellers' fees for a transaction I hadn't made. (We can only wonder at the crapness of a system that allows the same bank card to be used on two different accounts, but let that pass).…

Chinese brand names
I want to buy a particular cheap Chinese Android tablet that is just right spec for the use I intend, bought them before no problem, the issue is the awful names they use, its putting me right off as its on the front in large print logo..

inkshop.co.uk - AVOID
I bought ink cartridges from this company a couple of times. However my last purchase was less successful with their 'guaranteed' ink cartridges leaking and not being recognised by my printer therefore useless. I contacted them at the email address supplied and asked for a return and refund. The email I received in reply…

Waitrose - Mothers Day Failure
Waitrose have failed to deliver Mothers Day flowers today. They are blaming CityLink and say they will deliver tomorrow - kinda missing the point - its not Mothers Day tomorrow! They obviously have a general problem as i had 2 texts in the afternoon saying deliveries would be made up to 5pm. But didn't manage to tell me…

Appliances Online Praise
My washing machine broke down on Tuesday, by Thursday (could have been Wednesday if I'd paid extra for delivery) was delivered, installed and working. Constant updates by phone, text & email let me know exactly when the new machine would be delivered. This is the 2nd time I've used appliances online.com & I can't praise…

Breach of Distance Selling Regulations Question (Long Read)
Hi. First post here seeking some legal (and other advice) regarding a dispute I had a while back with Sony Online Entertainment. This is gonna be a long read, but for a TL;DR, look at the bottom. As maybe some of you have heard, they released a new product called Planetside 2 featuring a free-to-play basis with a…

Vent - Vodafone website 'only works on Internet Explorer'
For some time now I have been having recurring problems logging into my account on the Vodafone website, which I need to use to see my bills (the joys of paperless billing :( ): every few months I find that I am unable to log in, despite using the right details, and have to contact Vodafone to get them to reset things. I…

Amazon Delivery Fiasco

NOW TV - They renege on offers - beware
NOW TV is a Sky outfit, it's a limited version of Sky movies available via download onto a variety of platforms, XBox, YouView etc. I let my subscription lapse a while back. I felt that although it streamed perfectly, that it was a bit expensive for what we got. The normal subscription is £15 per month. So I was chuffed…

Facebook payments via PayPal (Warning)
My PayPal account shows a number of transactions to Facebook, none of which were authorised. Oddly, the usual e-mail from paypal saying a payment had been made was not sent. I have cancelled the pre-authorised payment which the unauthorised user set up for this, and disputed the transactions. Google shows that some PayPal…

Praise: Asda Home Delivery
Been using Asda for my online shopping for a few months and overall, been very pleased, a few minor niggles which were easily sorted (broken eggs, wrong size nappies). Got our delivery as usual today, but as the chap was unloading I saw that there was some shopping in the box which wasn't mine, well a whole green plastic…

Recently ordered from this website, no problem with getting my order. But since I registered I have been getting loads of phishing emails. Anyone else notice this?
