Amazon non-returnable item
Had nothing but amazing service from amazon again and again. Imagine my surprise when an item i wanted to return said i would need to call their team, turns out the fish gravel i bought was listed for some reason under 'grocery' item which is non-returnable. Asked the team member why it wasn't stated on the product page…

Telemarketer hangs up because of background noise.
I got a call today from a telemarketer wanting me to do a survey. So I said OK but can you wait until I put the TV on. Why? she asked. So that you can hear all the people talking in the background just like I can hear all your call centre collegues talking in your background. She hung up on me.:(

Olympic relay rant1
Really dissapointed with this, it passes 12 miles from our town, population 18,000 but will go on a bus! So little chance of seeing it unless we all go to a tiny village 14 miles away. Then it is meant to be LOCAL people carrying the torch but our neighbors son had to go over 60 miles away to do his bit and the people…

Had a terrible experience with my iPhone today. It was working normally, but then about an hour ago it fell out of my hand and landed on my foot!! It really hurt!! Was wondering if anyone can help with this. I emailed apple about it but all I got was an apology and that's totally not enough. I have a bruise on my foot…

Well done Apple!
I believe in giving praise where its due so I would like to say a MASSIVE! thank you to the apple store i went to. My iPhone fell out of my locker at work and broke so I took it to the store which i had better not name. The guy told me that it was beyond repair so he would need to replace it which would normally cost £139…

Praise for Beds of Paradise
Having seen the struggles some friends had had in buying a bed from one of the usual chains, I decided to try a local independent shop; Beds of Paradise in Downham Market, Norfolk. I was met with a smile and allowed to walk around without being hassled, but as soon as I had a question, my options were laid out without…

Went in to purchase a new gym t-shirt on Saturday in my local store. They had a black adidas tshirt for £10 which I really liked but didn't have in my size (S), only M upwards. So I decided to go to another store which was 5 minutes walk away but again, same situation. I ended up going back through town to purchase some…

Praise - Green Flag (Direct Line Rescue)
I joined Green Flag via Direct Line Rescue (Recovery Plus) in March after my manufacturer cover ran out. I don't remember when I last called out a breakdown company, I just have the cover for peace of mind. Yesterday, I had a problem with the car and had to call them out. Green Flag called out Miller Recovery of Broxburn…

Items that go on and on..
Just reading on here about faulty electrical goods and the rights of the consumer has made me start this thread. Have any of you had sterling service from any appliances you have bought? My Comet Proline cheapy freezer is still going strong after 17 years of sterling service. It's never broken down, never had a service,…

English Football Commentators
Just a quick query, do the english football commentators annoy english folks as much as they do the Scottish and presumably the rest of the UK people? Im scottish and sat down yesterday to watch the footy, and even though im in the tartan army, thought id quite like england to go thorugh here for some strange reason.…

BT Openreach / Plusnet !
Bit angry about this, but not sure where to post as it kind of covers phones and internet. Basically, we went to Plusnet (who I think have got a fairly good reputation?) to get a phone line plus internet package. We've got no landline connection, as it's a new building, so Plusnet have had to liaise with Openreach to get…

There are nice people out there
Don't know if this is the right page but had to praise a lady who has just saved me a lot of time, hassle & money. I couldn't find my purse on Friday night following a looooong walk home. I assumed that I had left it at work as I had been in a rush to catch my train. Anyway got into work this morning no purse. Hoped that…

Praise - Appliances Online
Excellent service from this company. I ordered a dishwasher at 3.30pm (Sunday). I paid £9.99 for next day delivery as I have booked time off etc and Comet let me down. Received a text advising that my delivery will be between 7 - 11am. Also got a message on the house phone. This morning, I've had another call to say that…

KGB - poor offers; bad, bad service
CAREFUL WITH KGB DEALS. Current offer - The '5 mosquito bands' are £5 plus P&P of £4.99 i.e. £9.99 for 5. But on eBay the same bands are only £2.45, post free. And KGB has the nerve to say 75% off. Does no one there check these deals beforehand or do they think we are all mugs?…
