I joined Green Flag via Direct Line Rescue (Recovery Plus) in March after my manufacturer cover ran out. I don't remember when I last called out a breakdown company, I just have the cover for peace of mind.
Yesterday, I had a problem with the car and had to call them out. Green Flag called out Miller Recovery of Broxburn who were due within the hour. As the local dealer was closed, I got the car dropped off at home, 8 miles from where I originally was. Due within the hour - I was home in less than 50 minutes from when I made the phone call.
I was to call back today to get the car recovered to the local dealer. I called GF this morning. Nearest dealer that I didn't want to use due to previous problems is a few miles away. I asked to get the car towed to where I bought it, over 20 miles away.
Not a problem. I wanted the car picked up at 2:00pm, I was told it would be between 2-3:00pm which I was happy with. Miller Recovery turned up at 2:10pm.
All in, a great service. Two really nice recovery guys that took great care of the car, speed of service was brilliant and the iPhone App via Direct Line made the whole thing effortless.
