when you pay anything take your time!!
I know no-one can help but got to let off steam. I can't believe how stupid I've been! Hope I can explain, I had to pay a co-op visa, and the money I was going to use was in a Barclays account, I needed to transfer that to my co-op account to pay the visa, because if you pay from a co-op account it only takes 2 working…

Talk Talk dreadful service
Somehow they have messed up my account big time. They have sent it to arrears department despite us not owing anything. The arrears department refuse to look at the account saying pay this money NOW. We have gone through to customer service who say how sorry they are. Yet the calls are still coming 10/15 times a day. Now…

cheapdiscountsupplements.com
I'm new to the site so please forgive me if i'm posting this in the wrong area! I recently bought some items online from the site cheapdiscountsupplements .com which haven't arrived yet! Although it's only been 10 days the site says deliveries usually take between 3-5 days. I've done some research on the company and they…

Hotel Chocolat
Reading the other chocolate thread made me think to put this on here. I really do think it deserves a thumbs up because although there were problems the way the company dealt with it was outstanding. I ordered some end of line chocs as a bit of a treat for myself, the next day I was contacted to say they were sorry but…

Warning: Men sharing Lingerie Changing Rooms
Took my daughter to M & S this weekend to be fitted for a bra and we were disconcerted to find the changing rooms being used by men to try on shirts/trousers etc. Apparently, they should have been using the male changing room at the back of the men's department but there are no labels indicating that this is a lingerie…

VENT: Chuggers/Charity collectors in the street/On street salesmen
First things first, I do give to charity, but not when accosted in the street to do so! My vent is that the chuggers round here are well out of order, having resulted in some bizarre tactics. A while back I was nearly run over trying to cross the street to avoid one that was following me! Yesterday, walking through town, I…

Some TV Interviewers
It makes me mad when in my opinion the interviewer keeps interrupting the interviewee and not allowing them to finish what they are saying just so they make a name for themselves. An example of this was this morning on GM TV, Nick Clegg was being asked about the potential changes in Child Tax Credits and the female…

Tesco won't honour their own coupon?
Hi there, when I received my clubcard points recently there was a few vouchers/money off coupons at the end of the booklet. I had a voucher for £3.50 off some dishwashing tablets. When i found them in the store today, they were only £2.49! (orginally £9.99 but on offer). I put two in my trolley and went along to C.S. I…

RANT school non-pupil days!
Hi, Everyone I know with children at school complain about the non-pupil/baker/teacher training days. If it isn't difficult enough already trying to balance work/family, the schools make it twice as hard! I have 2 children at different schools (in the same area), every academic year, my OH and me, between us, have to cover…

Ban on helicopter arrival at primary school prom
A parent has been banned from sending an 11-year-old child to their end-of-year primary school prom in a helicopter. East Renfrewshire Council confirmed it had received an inquiry about landing a helicopter in the grounds of Mearns Primary in Newton Mearns. But it rejected the request on health and safety grounds. The…

Homebase Pricing
Yesterday I reserved on line a dehumidifier to be picked up from my local Homebase store - Bicester. I got a confirmation email which included the price, £79.99. I went to pick it up today and the guy in the store rung up £89.99. I told him that was the wrong price and showed him the confirmation email. He told me that the…

TomTOm "Free" 12 month HD Live
Has anyone managed to get the free 12 month subscription from TomTOm after buying a new GO satnav? It says that it takes 21 days but I've been waiting since 14th April and they don't respond to emails. Anyone had any issues or managed to get it? (I've also posted this on the Techie Forum)

Amazon - £5 for withdrawing feedback - Would you?
This just doesn't seem right to me - but then £5 is £5. What do you think? I bought something through Amazon from a seller, Linens Limited. They were nice on the phone but the sale was a disaster from start to finish. I left negative feedback - which I feel was deserved. I just had an email from LL offering me a £5 refund…

Hello everyone Just thought I would share this little nugget from a trip to Mr T yesterday, I was stood at the checkout and noticed the aisle end freezer with some offers in so went to have a look, seen some DelMonte Orange Lollies (very nice BTW) so picked them up, now last week we went to Tesco after a day out to get…

Tesco's Fruit
I bought some red grapes and apples from Tesco on Monday. The grapes had that crunchy texture which meant that they'd been mistakenly frozen at some point; the apples were soft and mushy although they looked OK. I was offered a refund, but is there any store that does decent fruit and veg without resorting to Waitrose/M &…

Frozen "Fresh Baked" Bread in Asda
I went to get some fresh rolls in my local Asda this morning and they were a bit cold and damp. Rummaged through the whole pile and the bottom ones were frozen solid. I know that they use bread mix and frozen part baked but passing off frozen bread as "Fresh Baked In Store" is a bit off.
