Rpoints/Cashback Kings Data Protection
I was doing some checking tonight to see if one of the cashback sites I've found had registered for data protection as I was a little concerned by the look of the site. I started checking if all the cashback sites I use have registered and they all have which is good news except for one which is Rpoints/Cashback Kings.…

Toys R Us...Just having a vent!
They are such liars! Got my delivery today minus an item. Not a problem, just a stocking filler. I got an e-mail at dinner time saying they'd tried to call me today to let me know & were sorry for missing item. Did 1471 on the phone just in case had missed a call. Last number was a few days ago from my DH. No missed calls…

DFS nightmare
Hi I have been a member for a while but always looked rather than posted. Guess this is one of those times I really need advice. I ordered a sofa from DFS 12 weeks ago. It was delivered today (hubbie was at home and paid for it on arrival). when they unwrapped it DH noticed some problems and refused to sign for it. I…

O2 iPhone users forced into paperless billing
Hello all, This may sound slightly pedantic, but I'm not happy with the email I received from O2 this morning. The email, sent to all iPhone users who currently receive paper bills, explains that they will now receive their bills online and this month's bill is the last paper one. When I signed up to the contract, some 14…

Praise for Furniture Village
I visited and placed an order for a suite, paying the deposit. Next day I got a voucher code (on this forum!) and phoned them, and they accepted it and re-did all the paperwork (ie showing deposit, monthly payments etc altered to reflect the £100 voucher code!) Amazing. They could easily have said sorry miss you already…

McDonalds Praise!!!
Turned up unannounced to the already very busy McDonalds on the A50 at Uttoxeter with a large group of very excitable kids off to the water park at Alton Towers. The service we received from them was first class. They couldn't do enough to help and although they quite a bit of stick at times, fair play to them for their…

McDonalds Festive Cheese Melt Wedges
I thought these looked nice and decided to try them out. Although they were absolutely delicious with the tangy tomato sauce, I was surprised that there are only 4 small wedges per £1.49 portion. Worth trying maybe just the once, but definitely not worth the £1.49. Sorry.

Never asked for ID anymore
Not really sure this is a praise, vent or a warning - just a general comment. I'm not even 20 yet, but in the last 6 months or so, I haven't been asked for ID once for alcohol. Whether it be drinking out or in supermarkets. It was something that really used to annoy me, but now I kinda miss it. Not sure why, but it seems…
