living beyond means/no sense of responsibility
Just a random rant really. In the last area we lived, my wife and I knew a couple who had been kicked out of more homes than you can shake a stick at for unpaid rent. They were on keys for their gas and electric due to unpaid bills. They then bought a £15000 car on finance (repayments £350 pm) and surprise surprise were…

Co-Op Chaos!
I am outraged!Having just paid a vist to the Co Op local to my girlfriends house, the entire store was a minefield of packaging on the floor, cages left blocking aisles, staff just wandering round with vacant looks ont heir faces, seemingly oblivious to all the possible carnage this could cause. When we wanted some Dolmeo…

Croxdale Garage - Chester-Le-Street
I took my Corsa in to have the rear brakes checked today. They got the car ready for when they said, did work that was necessary, did not change the brake shoes although I said I thought they needed doing, gave the brakes a service and clean, replaced the handbrake cable, all for a very reasonable price. Third time I have…

Tesco Entertainment online
Not to be mistaken with Tesco stores or even Tesco online which is pretty good overall. I preordered a Blu-Ray of Terminator Quadrilogy a month ago after spending 40 minutes through their checkout process (their site was extremely slow and regularly crashed but others had the same problem too). Last week I noticed that I…

Ross and Davis/DM Designs Glasgow
Please excuse my little rant. Unsolicited sales calls are one of my pet hates and I want to warn everyone about this company. I just received my 3rd phonecall from Ross and Davis (AKA DM Designs from Glasgow) telling me I'd won a £1000 voucher off a new kitchen. What's wrong with that? Let me tell you. Firstly I'm on the…

Asda's Crappy Customer Service
As a regular Asda shopper apart from the odd near miss on a spillage, the odd grumpy checkout assistant and silly substitues I can rarely fault them. That was until this evening. After shopping in Asda tonight we returned to the car to find that I had left the lights on the car while we had been shopping, when I tried to…

Argos £5 free vouchers ..?
RULE..IF YOU SPENT THE £50+ ONLINE YOU CAN ONLY GET THE £5 OFF ONLINE. It is very unfair as unless you spend more than £50 online you have to pay £5.80 delivery! Therefor using the voucher would make me 80p worse off? We all have to think of the carbon footprint made by this rule as Argos has not.

I met the rudest man at the sorting office today
Before I begin I would like to say I respect the men at women at Royal Mail and while life was made more difficult by the postal strikes their plight remains one I support and continue to support to this day. Many of the people at Royal Mail (most in fact) are very friendly and an asset to this country and to the company.…

My mouldy McDonalds burger
Guys, who (other than McDonalds) can I complain to about mouldy food? This is my photo of a burger sold to me in McDonalds (Surbiton branch) earlier today: http://www.imgshack.info/images/5qc9upuiuzi4m9oxij45.jpg as you can see the bottom half is saturated with green mould. Thanks in advance.

Please help stop this dodgy boatbuilder
Someone posting on another forum that I use has had a really terrible time thanks to a boat builder by the name of Maesbury Marine Services of Shropshire, run by a Barry Tuffin. This is not the first time his name has been associated with complaints about the standard of his work, although I'm hoping it will be the last.…

Bus company actually listening to complaints!
I have to use TWM (travelwest midlands) buses every day through birmingham city centre. If the buses are late to the terminus, where the inspector records their arrival time, then they will just fly pass the stops and ignore the waiting passengers. (or let you off the bus!) If you can be bothered you call up and complain…

In the evening when I went to get the meat out of container to cook it ,the meat felt very sticky grabbed my glasses and…

How are WHSmith still in business?
Does anyone know? As far as I can tell everything in their stores is overpriced. Books are cheaper in Tesco and on Amazon. CDs, Games, DVDs are grossly overpriced. Chocolate, drinks, sweets are all about 10-20% more expensive than in Tesco or Wilkinsons. Stationary is overpriced compared to Pound Shops or Wilkinsons. The…

AVOID freecig.com
Hi everyone, Hope i'm posting on the right forum. I'm looking for some advice about the company freecig.com. My Mum signed up for a trial in a local shopping centre and after having loads of problems with the electronic cigarette decided to cancel it. she told both the company and the bank to stop payments being sent. Now…

M&S - Refund on .com order in store incorrect
I returned 2 items out of 3 on 1 order and everything but 3 pairs of knickers on another order in store yesterday. As the delivery note does not give prices, I was unaware that the refund was incorrect. When I got home, I checked my account and could see the refunds had already been applied, and could quite clearly see…

lowpriceshopping.co.uk
Has anyone had any dealings with these? DD wants some trainers for christmas, and saw them for £90 on rollerskate, but they're selling for £51 on lowpriceshopping. The thing is, I've never heard of this company before, so wondered if there were any bad experiences? A search of the website comes up no match.…

Football Association Official Partners
I recently started doing my referees training, due to the fact that I want to play football, but am frankly a little rubbish. Anyway as part of this we have to do (amongst other elements) fitness and the safeguarding of children. Anyway, the official partner for the safeguarding element is McDonalds, and the fitness is of…

Hp laptops - don't do it!!!
Hi all, Just a warning for you about HP Pavilion laptops... I bought a Pavilion about 3 years ago now. When it was about 10 months old (so LUCKILY still in warranty), I switched it on one day and was confronted with a black screen. I phoned HP who, after shifting me around between various departments, told me that as the…

TV Licence charged twice
I brought a TV licence yesterday for my room in my halls and have been charged twice. Log on to online banking and there were two amounts of £142.50. Rang them up and they can't find me on their system. I asked for licence to be sent by email, and they say it takes a few days for the email to come and to ring back when I…
