Has anyone had any dealings with these?

DD wants some trainers for christmas, and saw them for £90 on rollerskate, but they're selling for £51 on lowpriceshopping.

The thing is, I've never heard of this company before, so wondered if there were any bad experiences?

A search of the website comes up no match. Apologies if this is the wrong place to post.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

    Thank you mwilletts :)

I appreciate you finding that info for me.

I've now found the trainers on suprafootwear.co.uk for £66.88. Would you mind checking those for me, or giving me the details of how I could check the information myself, please.

Sorry for being a nuisance, but really do appreciate your input.

If you want to check the registered owner of a website just use whois:

(Of course people can give fake info when registering a domain)

no he didnt, they are real.. i bought some uggs from there and i was weary they'd be fake, i took them into a store today and they looked at them for me and compared them to the real thing and they are real, i got a certifcate with them too.

i saw this yesterday and got worried, cus the uggs hadn't arrived. then checked the site it has now been removed.. but i got my uggs lastnight and they are the real deal. and if they are fake.. even the lady in the store said they are a real good fake because everything is the exact same to the real ones, the stitching, fur and everything.

lowpriceshopping.co.uk has been suspended since December 2, the day before this article: http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2009/dec/03/police-shut-scam-shopping-websites.

I doubt it is a coincidence.
  • i understand what youre saying, i paid 60 pound for these boots so whether they're real or fake, they look exactly the same and feel the same.. i bought some from bank last year for 170 and they look exactly the same, the print of the sole, the label and how its all stitched, the details you get in the box. so if they are fake it is a real good fake. i was up lastnight looking at websites to see how to spot the fakes and they seem pretty simple, but these shoes have none of it. i dont know about the air max shoes my bf got cus i dont wear nike.
