How do I stop getting automated calls on my phone with recorded messages
Please help, i get 3-4 of those recorded calls every single work day for some months now and they really are getting on my nerves. How do i stop them without it costing me anything, I was just about to sign up to a registery thing but it would have cost me £39 for the year :( . This is for my home phone. Thanks

BT contracts
BT have renewed a contract for landline and broadband which I wish to cancel. They are not letting me, its been renewed from July by a call to my father, not to me. Do I have any rights under the Consumer Rights Act, is there a cooling off period?

I keep getting loads of calls from debt collectors. At least half a dozen a day. I have caller display and don't answer the phone. Only 3 people have my landline number. I'm registered with TPS. I've googled the numbers to see who calls me. It's an intrusive nuisance. How can they be stopped?
