Moving House: Should I cancel my existing BT line and sign up or transfer

Hi all,
I am moving house. I believe the new house has an existing BT landline in it - the current owners use TalkTalk.
Anyway, I am pondering whether or not to cancel my existing BT services and sign up as a new customer (I don't mind losing my existing phone numbers).
Or should I just log into my BT online account and select the House Move option?
I think I get a better deal online with a new application (and it also includes things like a £50 Sainsbury's voucher and also includes the cost of installing a new line worth £130 if the existing line is not good enough - I am going to try out their BT Infinity 2 package).
If I do a straight move, I don't get anything, but I get peace of mind and its easier to keep my numbers. Also I probably won't get any overlap of costs (if there is advance notice periods for cancellation).
What should I do and is anyone aware of any other caveats / pitfalls I should be aware of?
Thanks.
