Unwanted calls

I keep getting loads of calls from debt collectors. At least half a dozen a day. I have caller display and don't answer the phone. Only 3 people have my landline number. I'm registered with TPS. I've googled the numbers to see who calls me.
It's an intrusive nuisance. How can they be stopped?

TPS is for unsolicited \ marketing calls. Assume the debt Collectors are calling for debts that you owe? - so is a legitimate purposes (as probably detailed in credit agreements signed).. Many use dialling systems so if not answered will retry later. Try speaking to them?0

I'm getting around 15 calls daily from Debt Collectors (4 different firms) all asking for the same person who has NEVER had this number. On ly a TrueCall gave me peace and quiet again, and it was worth every penny!0
