Contacting call 18185

I'm having problems with 18185 taking excess money from my bank account and I can't find a way of contacting them through their website. Does anyone have a contact email or the like for them?

I've been blocked today on my 18185 and my 1899 accounts due to a failed payment. I've no idea why. When logging on to the site it doesn't show me how payment was due to be taken and the invoices do not indicate how payment will be taken. I can only assume that my card details have expired as they haven't bothered to take a payment since at least last year, if not longer ago. No sensible way of contacting them either.

When my card details expired I just add new card details and my account was unblocked from memory.

If you had a DD set up for payment it only remains on the banking system for 13 months - if not used it expires.Presumably you use 18185/1899 so infrequently that the amount you owe is too small to have triggered the production of an invoice. My account needs to be ~ £1.80 in debit to trigger an invoice.
  • MoneyPenny - did you ever manage to contact 18185?

I've tried on a number of ocassions but they always ignore my mails.

Some time ago they started blocking my calls saying my card had expired but it hadn't. Now I'm trying to close my account but they won't let me as they reckon I need to settle my account - but I don't owe them anything. When I mail them they never reply.

    These people are a menace.

Follow their online reporting procedure - but only use the Report A fault section.

They always reply to me when I do that.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
  • Heinz - thanks,

I've tried to contact 18185 'again' - will post here should they reply - or not... :(
