Beware the Simplifydigital offer..
I fell for the Simplifydigital/Talktalk offer and 'signed-up'. The operative repeatedly made the 'mistake' of giving me the anytime call tariff but eventually read back to me the evening/weekend call details; the confirmation email 'confirms' the more expensive anytime call option I didn't want. I called Simplifydigital…

Yet another talktalk complaint
Hello, I've already tried calling customer services but after 5 or 6 calls, I feel like I'm running round in circles so I'm throwing this out here in the hopes that the talktalk rep sees it and can help me. I signed up for talk talk in early January; they sent an engineer on 11th February to connect me and said I should…

I've been doing some searching and reading but I can't find a conclusive answer. I've just moved into a new flat and I want to set up broadband (ADSL since cable's not an option), and I think we're going to go with BeThere. However I'm unsure of the state of the current landline. In every other flat I've been in, the…

BT Anytime. Is it a rolling contract after 12 months?
I am asking this on behalf of my parents, who have BT Anytime as part of their phone package. They took out the BT Anytime plan on March 3rd 2010, and decided to go with Sky's telephone package, but waited until they had been with the BT Anytime plan for 12 months so as to not get any cancellation charges. They have now…

BT Payment Processing Fee - (awkward customers)
Having had my phone bill this morning, and not trusting BT with my bank or card details, I elect to pay by cash. The result is the extra charge of about £4.50 per quarter I get hit with - a tax on protecting your banking and card details so to speak. It crossed my mind that if I pay by Paypoint, BT may get hit with a…
