First off I did use the car park as indicated on the invoice. However I did purchase a ticket which I no longer have. The…

For those thinking of paying a PPC
Leaving aside all the other issues of the validity of the charges a PPC tries to claim, it is often said that if you pay a PPC a lower rate they may delay cashing the cheque and then demand a higher amount. An example of this is shown here…

Borrowed from pepipoo.com. The BPA are developing this service to launch…

Threatening letter from debt collectors for Parking
Hi I am getting really stressed out as a debt collector -CCSCOLLECT - are chasing me for an unpaid parking ticket/fine. I was not driving the car and can prove beyond doubt this fact - I have asserted this many times - but they say as the car is registered in my name I must pay. Is this correct ?

Can you settle a discussion?
Where I work, we have a car park that come September, will be payable either by £16 per month, or on a meter at £1 per day. We do have a man that comes round already to check passes etc and issues tickets if no pass is visible. Quite a few people have been ticketed and have had to pay £45. I was having a discussion with a…

Parking Eye Notice - Sorry for the noobness of the question
Hi, Received a Parking Charge Notice today from Parking Eye. I overstayed the time limit by 10 minutes. I obviously deserve the parking fine, but I was checking out the company online and there are posts after posts saying not to pay. Does this advice still stand? If so if I ignore the letters would the unpaid fine go on…

"Stadium car parks" - con or not?
I bought this morning a car park ticket online on the "Stadium Car Parks" website (stadiumcarparks.com) for the olympics in manchester. We arrived and the attendant let us in after hesitation, saying that the emailed printed ticket looked dodgy. Does anyone know if I should worry about the transaction and call my bank, or…

Hi All I received a PCN in May 11 and appealed, eventually I received a charge certificate so appealed to the Traffic Enforcement Centre (TEC) as I had not had a postal response to my representations, nor did I receive the Notice to Owner(NTO). The TEC upheld my appeal, I mistakenly thought that was it, but today received…
