This is your final final final chance to pay us some money, we will even reduce the amount owing to £60 before we place your file into the bin.0

So you ignored this ccj threat?
With Newlyn, it's just an empty threat.
For things to actually get to this stage, the car park owner would have to take you to court and win the case. Then, you would have to refuse to pay, to get a CCJ issued after 28 days. Then, you would have to still refuse to pay, to get bailiffs appointed.
Natz169 has just posted a case, involving NCP and railway byelaw 14.
This is radically different. NCP might own the car park and tickets issued under byelaw 14 are legally enforceable, like council, police & TFL ones. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Why not. It would have to go to county court, the OP lose the case and then refuse to pay what the judgement ordered. All of which would be most unlikely unless you are a private parking company or a clamper.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

The account number at the bottom for the standing order is just a pile of zeros. That's surely not right.0
