Travel insurance while still abroad??
Hello I've been away from the UK for over 12 months and my travel insurance has expired. I've been looking at new providers, but see that they all seem to want me to be in the UK and obtain at least an open ticket to leave the UK, whereupon the insurance will commence. I don't have the benefit of worldwide insurance…

LBA now charge £2 just for dropping off and picking up passengers, be aware of this if you are travelling to and from there, it used to be free for up to 10 minute, which was plenty long enough to jump in and out of a car.

Anyone know about or used wimdu.co.uk?
As title really. I can't remember who sent me the link for it - it might have been travelzoo or something else legit, but I got a £65 voucher for 'liking' them on facebook and booking through them. You can register your own room or property with them for people to come and stay with you, the idea being you get better value…

Cheapest hand luggage?
The bags which pairs of pillows come in are very close to the hand luggage sizes. They usually have a zip and carrying handles, are extremely light weight, quite sturdy and best of all - free! The weakest part is probably the plastic which bears the advertising, although as you will have your luggage with you almost all…
