LBA now charge £2 just for dropping off and picking up passengers, be aware of this if you are travelling to and from there, it used to be free for up to 10 minute, which was plenty long enough to jump in and out of a car.

Newcastle charge £1.00 however you can just hop out at the side of the road and walk into the terminal, Leeds is the same not far to walk thats if your fit and able, wouldnt pay them for nothing!!!!

You can park for free for up to 60 minutes in the longstay carpark as an alternative.

Risky business.... we did that the last time we went (about a month ago) and we ended up with a ticket in the post 3 weeks later.. a guy in a van took a photo of the car and everything

Britania Hotel at Leeds airport did us a price of £69 for overnight stay and 8 days parking. This also included £10 for taxi transfer to and from the airport, without the transfers it was £59 which was only £10 more than the parking by itself and as we had to check in by 6 am it was wellworth the money.

Its quite a bit away from the terminal this longstay car park, they have a shuttle bus I heard. Nat sure if its a free shuttle bus, I think it is yano; will ask me brother as he works there!

east midlands charge 1.00 just to drop people off:(

SENTINEL car park just off the airport. They are BRILLIANT, always use them. They drop you off at the terminal and are there waiting to pick you up when your flight lands. No need to phone. About a three minute journey to their compound. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The cost for a week (8 days) if booked online is £36. Hope this helps.

But of course you visited the motoring forums on this site and ensured the ticket was legit before paying didn't you?
