Beer-braised lentils, any alternative?
I've seen this recipe for beer-braised lentils http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/beer-braised-lentils It uses wheat beer, I've no idea what wheat beer tastes like. Would IPA or pale ale, (both of which I have in the house), be an acceptable alternative I wonder?
